I was looking at my dresser last night and noticed the yellow and orange coil pot I made in grade school. It reminded me how much I liked making and creating things as a child. I don't remember feeling like I was doing it wrong then or that I should already know how to do it.

I still love to create things and explore. But unfortunately, I have let my worry and fear get in the way, making it harder to get things started! So Sammimag Designs is brand new, and I'm still figuring out what this will be.

I plan to embrace beginnings, learning, and creating. I want this to be a place for fiber artists to be kind to themselves. Let's find joy and learning in the fiber arts together.

So, I hope you will join me on this journey as I start reworking some of my older crochet patterns. Some of those patterns I sold at my local yarn store when I worked there. I realized I never got up for sale on Ravelry!
